If you are already a member, log into the member section. Once logged into the "Member Admin" section of PixJury, click on the "Post A Picture" button in the upper Member Navigation.
If you are not an existing PixJury member, click on the "Post A Picture" button from the top navigation. Sign up for a free account be choosing a username (ie: Joey99), supply us with your email address, and select one of the options as to how you learned about PixJury. When your complete, you must agree to the terms of service by checking off the "I accept the terms**" box; and then clicking the "Register Now" button. Note: An email will be sent to the address you provided, confirming your membership account and providing you with a special password. The next time that you login to the member area you will be asked to change your password to one of a more personal nature. To change your password see: Changing you Password, below.
When given the option to upload a picture, select "yes". If your picture resides on your personal hard drive, select the option "Upload a picture" (more help for uploading from a local drive, click here). If your picture resides on a website, select the option "Link to existing web site" (more help for uploading from URL, click here).

CRITERIA
You must read and accept our Terms of Service, before you submit a picture.
You must have rights in order to submit a photo. Having rights to a photo
can include one of the following: Written authorization to upload pictures
of other people. A picture that you took and that belongs to you. A picture
that you own a legal copyright to
If you intend to use pictures of other people or other people's property, YOU MUST secure the legal right to do so.
Other Important Criteria
We will reject any photos or comments that we feel are inappropriate.
This includes:
1. Pornography or Sexually explicit material
(excluding Premium submissions)
3. Advertisements
4. Copyrighted material
5. Pictures with URL's
6. Pictures with email addresses
7. Pictures with phone numbers
8. Pictures which present any other contact information
Uploading A Picture from
your Hard Drive:
Click on
the "browse" button, beside the Picture Location field. This
will launch a Windows; file browsing screen. Find the corresponding image
by using the "Look In" drop down menu and finding the appropriate
directory were the image was saved. Once you have located the image double
click it or highlight it and click the "open" button. The correct
directory path for upload should now be displayed in the Picture Location
field.
Note: Images that are uploaded are required to meet certain size requirements.
For best results your picture should not be larger than 400 pixels wide
by 350 pixels in height.
Once you've found the image you wish to upload, click the "Upload
Picture" button. The screen that follows will allow you to customize
your image on PixJury. Select the appropriate category that you wish
to place your photo. You can change categories for your photo at any time
from the "Picture Administrationistration" section of your "Member
Log-in" screen. Type in a Picture Title, for example: "Sunset
in Maui." For added fun, type in a Picture Description; include any
personal comments, remarks, or technical photography information you want.
When you're satisfied with your entry click "Post Picture."
The confirmation page will
be displayed; your picture has been successfully uploaded.
Note: Again, any information about your photo, can be changed at any time from the "Picture Administrationistration" section of your "Member Log-in" screen.
Linking to an Existing Web Site:
Type in the existing URL for the image you want to upload (ie: http://www.site.com/images/mypic.jpg).
If you don't know the URL for your photo, go the website that it resides
on and right click over the image. Select the "properties" option
and copy the address or URL. When the URL is correctly typed in click
on the "Upload Picture" button.
The screen that follows
will allow you to customize your image on PixJury.

If it is the first time you are logging into the Member Section of PixJury, you will needed the password provided to you via email. If you've lost your password or deleted it click on the "forgot password" link. Once you've correctly logged in the first time you will be immediately prompted to change your password to a more personal one.
To change your password again at a later
date, click on the "Change Password" button on the Member Home
Page; within the right column.
If you've lost your password or deleted it click on the "forgot password" link.
To gain access to the Member Administration section of PixJury you will first be required to login. To login simply type in your email address provided when you signed up and your chosen password. If this is your first time logging in, please see "Changing your Password."
If you've forgotten your password or lost it, simply click on the "forgot password" link on any of the Member Log-in pages. You will be asked to supply the email address you used when signing up, to which your password will be emailed.
Viewing and Reading The Vote Graph
For a detailed look at voting trends click on the "View Vote Graph" button (or the "view stats" button from within the "Picture Administration"). PixJury Rate Meter Results displays, the average rating, total votes entered, number of times the picture has been shared via email, and a detailed voting trends chart.
The detailed voting trends chart displays, in bar graph form the total votes for each particular rating, and the percent of votes there of.
Fun Fact: The Judge picture is based on your average rating! Is your photo red hot or not?
To share a photo with a friend or group of friends via email click on the "email photo" button beside the photo in question. Type in your name, email address and the recipients email address or addresses. You can also include a personal message! When you're ready, simply click on the "Send Photo" button.
To start playing the PixJury game,
select the category of your choice from the Picture Category list on the
left hand side of the site. The first randomly chosen image from within
that category will be displayed. Use the "Voting Bar" to the
left of the image to rate the photo on a scale from one to ten - with
ten being the highest. Simply click on the rating number of your choice
on the "voting bar" to cast your vote. Images can be rated based
on photo quality or subject matter - the criteria is up to you.
The Photo's title and description are also shown to further your "Judging"
experience. Make your "Judgment" and continue onto the next
photo from that category.
Have fun and continue to play all of the categories until your heart's
content! But don't forget to come back soon and vote on the newly submitted
images that are egger to be "Judged"!
Enlarging a photo can be done via several different methods. You may chlisk the "enlarge photo" button or click directly on the image in question. The "enlarge photo" button can be found beside the corresponding photo, simply click on it. A "pop-up" window will be displayed in either event, with the largest viewable image available. When your ready to continue playing, click on the "close window" button to return to the game.
To make a comment, first vote on the photo. That photo will now move to the left hand side and you may then click on the "Comments: View/Add" button under the image in question. From the comments window click on the "Add a comment" button at the bottom of the displayed comments. Type in your comment (remember keep it fun and clean - comments made containing foul langue or that are inappropriate in nature will not be displayed) and click the "post comment" button.
*Comments can only be made after you vote on the image. This is so that your rating "Judgment" can be displayed alongside your comment.
To view the comments for a photo you just voted on, click on the "Comments: View/Add" button under the image in question within the Picture Category column.
To view the comments for a photo you have not voted on, click on the "View Comments" button to the right of the image in question.
To view additional comments within the comments window click on the "next 5" or any page number you wish to move to.
